Course Description:

In this lecture will briefly review the important anatomical structures associated with removal of impacted mandibular third molars. The significance of the clinical and radiographic classification will avoid serious surgical complications. A brief discussion of the surgical procedure and alternatives to avoid nerve damage.

  1. Panoramic and CBCT classification of impacted mandibular third molars.
  2. Surgical procedure to extract mandibular third molars.
  3. Alternative procedures to avoid complications and damage to inferior alveolar nerve.

Dr. Raid Sadda received his doctor of dental surgery (DDS) from New York University, college of dentistry. For over 40 years he has been practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery and over 20 years practicing dental implant in New York and New Jersey.

 He has completed a 2 year postgraduate fellowship Implantology program at NYU , and

has been a professor at NYU and attending Oral surgeon at St. Barnabas hospital in Bronx, NY Diplomat of International congress of Oral  implantologists (DICOI)

He holds memberships in many associations including Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland/Dublin, International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Academy of Osseointegration (Implants).

He has received several national and international recognition awards, and has been invited as a guest lecturer from different universities and countries.
